Hair maintenance MUSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order to achieve an healthy head of hair it requires maintenance. Sorry to disappoint those who feel being lazy will get you what you want. True divas pick up a comb, go to a fabulous salon, and use the best products to maintain their beautiful head of hair!!!! With the economy the way it has been lately, it is understandable for you to not make as many trips to the salon, but it doesnt mean to not go at all. Im a salon owner, as well as hairstylist and simply put, there are some things a professional can do that you just cant!!!! This is not a DIY(do-it-yourself) blog!!haha!! With that said..

1. Get your ends trimmed!!!! This is a 100% guaranteed way to keep your hair healthy and full of life!! Its a pet peeve of mine to see anyone walking around with that "one long strand"!!! Girl do me and you a favor and cut that mess!!! You all know what im talking about! Youve seen her, holding on for dear life to that one long side or thin strands that touch her back but the rest chewed off!!!! No no no!!! Its a mess and simply looks unkept. Trim it and watch it grow.

2. Use a great shampoo and even better Conditioner!! I dont think anyone complains about the shampoo process,but most run into trouble when it comes to conditioning and detangling. Use a wide tooth comb and a great conditioner. Comb from ends to root. I strongly recommend Design Essential Product Stimulations!!

3.Choose styles that accomodate your lifestyle!! There are so many options. There is nothing impossible with extensions, clips, and maintaining your own hair. We as women have so many options. No one has an excuse to not be fierce and fabulous in 2010. Whether youre a women on the go or stay at home mom, there are plenty of options for you to choose from to maintain healthy hair. Consult your professional stylist to recommend a style that is best for you! Since its a new year , try something NEW!!

My oh my time is sure flying!!!!!!!!!!!! People used to tell me the older I got the faster time will seem to go by! They definitely werent lying about that! I get so caught up in work and life in general I fail to take one moment at a time and just take it in. So this is a challenge for myself as well as you!!! Let us take extra special time to savor moments with friends, family, loved ones and those who just need to someone to say hello and smile!! Life is too short to take any moment for granted. As we go thoughout this year, let's make everyday doing our best because ultimately tomorrow isnt promised. God has blessed each of us with another chance to do better and be better. Let's get to it.
